HC Assistant (Compensation & Benefits)

BW Offshore is recruiting an HC Assistant (Compensation & Benefits), 9 month position for the Human Capital department. Employment will be in the Singapore office.

•Manage and administer payroll for Singapore and other Countries as assigned
•Manage pension and insurance for assigned personnel
•Ensure personnel information in payroll system is timely and accurate. Responsible for updating Payroll on any change in Employee's contractual entitlements
•Update and maintain payroll records such as new hires, resignation, deduction, payments, and salary changes and follow up documentation for payroll entries.
•Handling and control of disbursements, travel and expense claims for assigned personnel
•Reporting to public authorities as required, e.g. tax, salary, absence and leave
•Ensure up to date payroll regulatory compliance legislation.
•Handle payroll related queries from employees and key stakeholders.
•Prepare monthly payroll report.
•Prepare payroll accounting journal, general ledger postings, reconciliations of Payroll entries, Bank reconciliation report for Finance department.
•Process government claims such as NS reservist claims, Government-Paid Maternity Leave (GPML) and Government-Paid Childcare Leave (GPCL) etc.
•Handle statutory submissions, payments and annual tax return (CPF, IR21, IR8A, Appendix, BIK)
•Participate on Statutory Government Authorities Survey.
•Support others in the team with systems, processes, projects and initiatives as required.
•Assist with general administration and ad Hoc duties as assigned.


•Diploma in Human Resource Management / Business Administration
•Long relevant experience may replace formal education

•Ideally 3 years of working experience with hands-on work in payroll functions

•Structured and systematic work approach
•Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
