Training and Competency Administrator

BW Offshore is recruiting an Training and Competency Administrator, 8 months position for the Fleet department. Employment will be in the Singapore office.

•Supporting fleet organization in Training & Assessment program to develop specialist skills & multi skilled individuals to achieve a flexible & efficient workforce (Training Assessment Methods & Procedure of Competency Assessments for offshore crew)
•Supporting competence role to clean up and update OCS HR for all BWO units.
•Develop Training Matrix for units with revised training matrix, in parallel to Competence workshop.
•Review all courses and ensure it is still valid, course codes to be updated to new format. Align course codes in OCS HR, E-Learning, Training Matrix and BWO procedure. Standardise the naming convention for courses and numbering system.
•Training Provider list to be updated.
•Prepare documentation on all steps / areas-How to documents / guidance.
•Establish daily / weekly routines for follow up within HC or Fleet Departments.
•Responsible for maintaining and improving the Competence Assurance program components, including training, verification/Audit and assistance of implementation of program components in Units, such as alignment of Task lists with job profiles and designations on board with latest Organization chart.
•Upload back-log assessment evidence against employees. Check attached certificates are valid.
•Maintaining CA tables with Job Qualification Record Book as well as improve consistency and address gaps in assessments.
•Assist in the preparation of the Job Qualification books as assigned.
•Review and update existing JQRB against OCS HR Job Profiles and to reflect the CPTL. Check and ensure Job Profiles are up to date with certificates and job tasks are valid.
•Responsible for periodic update and review of competence system components, procedures based on out puts, audit findings, management reviews, revisions of Management System and relevant Regulations.
•Diagnostic reporting of tasks completed via OCS HR vs OCS web to see conformance with OCS HR and OCS WEB when there is an Upgrade of software's.
•Other duties as assigned

•College degree or other relevant education or background
•Relevant experience may compensate formal education

•Ideally 1 year relevant working experience
•Experience from the Offshore or Marine industry is an advantage
•Previous experience with Competence Assessment is an advantage

•Fluent in English (oral and written)

•The position may require travels to Offshore units for short periods
